I’ve got to read that book.
I have decided to use Pearl S. Buck when I adopt from Vietnam.

Now if I can just get a permanant job, money… maturity, a two bedroom apartment that is clean, a fire extingisher, those little plastic things to cover up outlets, those baby gate things…

I LOVED “The Good Earth.” I suggested it for our book club a couple of months ago, and we were all blown away by the story.

I read “The Good Earth” ages ago but it was one of those books that stayed with me. Some are just that great. Well worth a read for those who haven’t yet had the pleasure.
