I’m here. After three days (or was it four? or five?) traveling through the (amazing) Three Gorges, past the towns where both my children were born, aboard a (frankly mindblowing) ship (A four-story vehicle shaped like a giant gold dragon! This is adoption?), we have arrived. This morning.
There’s too much going on in my mind right now to properly write about anything. This is the day. Today, on the paperwork the facilitator had me sign, there was a new photograph of the boy who will be my son. He looks both amazing and frankly mindblowing.
This is the Three Gorges Dam. It’s a big dam.

Half of what we saw will soon be underwater. The rest is all new and gleaming. At night, the cities — they call them “villages” of Chongqing — are like psychedlic wonderlands.
Must go — time running out on hotel internet!
Soon… fatherhood!
