I just stumbled across the
Addicted to Race podcast. I'm not exactly sure what to make of it yet. It's chronicling America's obsession with race, by people who are... obsessed with America's obsession with race?
They are
race experts, which seems like a strange profession, but there you go. The podcast site features lots of links to other internet projects by their parent company, "New Demographics," who put out things like
Racialicious (looking at race in pop culture) and
Anti-Racist Parent (not to be confused with the
synthesizer manufacturers, dedicated to "parents committed to raising children with an anti-racist outlook").
Might be handy, you know, as think-food.

In general,
Occasional Superheroine is more my speed, but, you know, I'm not sure my horrified fascination with
Egg Fu (who just
showed up again in the weekly series
52, at which I've
already raised my eyebrow over dicey Chinese characters) is really healthy.
Still, I suppose it must be better than
Seinfeld reruns nowadays. Mustn't it?
